Process Overview

Our inspectors are thorough, prompt, and courteous. We have dedicated support staff ready to answer your questions and schedule appointments throughout the inspection process.

Our process includes:

  • establishing project requirements;
  • creating and implementing an inspection plan;
  • providing on-site inspections;
  • overseeing documentation; and
  • generating a final report.

Quality Assurance

GMC’s strict quality measures ensure that we meet or exceed the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Standards of Practice requirements and the Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Using state-of-the-art equipment, we check for gas leaks, carbon monoxide, moisture intrusion, signs of mold, faulty electrical, and improper framing. To ensure energy efficiency we carefully inspect insulation and ventilation.

Comprehensive Reports

When all work has been completed successfully according to our rigorous criteria, you will be sent a comprehensive report that includes digital photos and an executive summary listing all defects discovered in our comprehensive, visual examination of the physical structure and systems. This includes hundreds of items, from the roof to the foundation.
